It's 10pm & they were the only place open. When I called to order, the person was so polite which is rare from carry outs.
When I arrived to pick up my food, the customers service was shockingly great. They asked how my day was and I told them it was my first time here. They offered me a take out menu that had added coupons and hoped I'd come again.
When I got home, the tray the food came in was plentiful!!! A way bigger serving than other locations and it's so good! I'm definitely making this my primary spot for late night eats! -

No. 1 China is probably thee best Chinese restaurant I've been to in the DMV area. Food is fresh, tasty and most importantly CONSISTENT. My faves are the Singapore Noodles, Hunan Shrimp, Roast Pork with Chinese Vegetables and Combination Fried Rice. No dine in, pickup ONLY! You should check them out in you are ever in the Clinton area!

Being the picky and anal retentive person that I am, this is the ONLY Chinese Carryout that I will eat from. The food is Always freshly prepared and I'm never left feeling like I'm going to need Mylanta or an Advil due to all of the MSG that certain restaurants have in their foods. My favorites are: Egg Foo Yung, Orange Chicken, and Broccoli and Garlic. Appetizers I often get are Onion rings and vegetable spring rolls.
Delivery has also been the greatest reward when transportation has been a challenge for me or I'm too tired to cook. The food always comes within a reasonable time and not to mention pipping hot. Thank you Number 1 China for your outstanding customer services. You definitely are Number 1 in my book. -

This is the hands down best Chinese place anywhere near JBA.
They are the most efficient when ordering to go and picking up is easy.
Portions are large and taste so good.
I always mix it up and order the staples of take-out Chinese and they were all fantastic.
Please open another location in Calvert County!!
